Our Story
We’re a local community cricket club with a passion for growing the game and giving everyone — from young beginners to experienced players — a safe and welcoming place to play.
Over the past few seasons, we’ve seen fantastic growth:
• Our junior section is expanding rapidly, with more children picking up a bat and ball each week.
• We now field two senior teams, competing proudly in local leagues.
But our training nets — which are vital for practice and player development — have become unsafe and worn out. The surfaces are damaged, and the netting has torn in several places. It’s reached the point where we can’t train safely or effectively.
That’s why we’re launching this Crowdfunder — to raise £15,000 to repair and upgrade our cricket nets.

Your donations will go directly towards:
Resurfacing the practice lanes with a durable, all-weather surface
Replacing damaged netting and poles
Upgrading the overall structure to meet ECB training standards
Ensuring a safe, high-quality facility for year-round use
These improvements will benefit everyone — from our youngest players learning to bowl for the first time to our senior teams preparing for match day.
