Funds to buy nappies and wipes, and hopefully baby carriers, for refugee families arriving in Kos, on my self-funded trip.
About the project
I am planning a self-funded trip to Kos, in co-ordination with people already helping there, delivering slings and carriers to refugee families - contacts there tell me there is a desperate need as familys are arriving with one or two infants in arms, and a few babies have even be born on arrival. Being carried in a sling provides a safe and comforting place for babies and toddlers, out of harms way, and an easy way for parents who have nothing, to transport little people.
I would really like to buy lots of nappies and wipes and other family necessities locally whilst there to hand out to families. Please donate to make this possible! If this is a sucessful crowdfunding, extra funds will either be used to buy extra second hand slings, or extra products on arrival, depending on the amount of slings donated.
