We need your support to buy extra studio equipment to help us deliver more live radio shows, community projects and continue to support young people across Greater Manchester into sustainable employment.
Our current equipment originates from the beginning of Reform's story and is not only becoming exhausted but there is not enough to meet demand and action all of the ideas our vibrant new home, the historic Old Granada Studios, will allow us to deliver.
Yes this is a truly great opportunity to become part of one of the most exciting new artistic brands in recent years, an artistic brand that not only produces great content but also has it roots firmly grounded in positive social change. Oh and what other radio statio offers to take you to the zoo?
Cute Panda that probably won't be a the zoo we go to.
Ultimately our world class radio content will provide more opportunities for young people to learn and practice digital skills that we hope will help address the issue of youth employment by responding to the demand for skilled workers in the digital sector.
The equipment we need includes things like specialist broadcast mixers, broadcast microphones, monitor speakers, new computers, soundproofing, new doors, miles of wiring and all the complex back end streaming infrastructure so you can listen to the live shows you helped support.
Having piloted our radio project over the last two years, we have proved our successful creative method of working with young people pastorally to better support them into work.
Over this time we have delivered 24 successful projects across the city, engaging directly with 29 partners, and supported 28 people back into permanent working positions. We are currently delivering 2 projects engaging with 30 young people. All participants are guaranteed continued support even, after employment as well as access to free creative sessions, studio time and one on one support meetings.
The move to Hello Work at the Old Granada Studios provides a safe meeting place where young people can come in for extra support or work independently on projects in the space. It will also allow us to develop our own in house skills accreditation course which we hope will be recognised by potential future employers within the local area.

Further, after consulting with our service users, volunteers and DJs we've made the decision to begin broadcasting live 24/7 to spread our message, as well as provide more live shows and therefore opportunities to train, practice and develop the digital skills required by the modern employer.
So we need your support more than ever. We now have two studios (one for live and one for prerecording) that need filling with the best possible equipment to ensure the longevity of this project and relevance of training.
This equipment, in this location will enable us to host more incredible, industry standard live shows from some of Manchester's most relevant popular artists. Our current roster includes Jenna G, T.Dot, Mica Millar, Fallacy and Darka to name but a few and the new schedule is looking truly world class, proving Manchester is truly competitive on the global artistic scene.
