New stretch target
As we write this appeal, the date of the election is uncertain. Every extra penny will support us to campaign in every corner of the constituency, while ensuring that the need for independence is front and centre of our message!
An election is coming, and we must seize this opportunity to put Scotland's future in Scotland's hands. Help re-elect Martyn Day!

Martyn Day is an experienced parliamentarian and lifelong independence campaigner. Elected to represent local communities continiously since 2015, Martyn Day has an established constituency office in Bathgate where he has helped tens of thousands of existing constituents.
Almost everyone in the local area will know someone Martyn Day has helped.
During my time in Westminster, I have witnessed the growing democratic deficit facing Scotland as Westminster seeks to ignore, outvote and overrule the wishes of the Scottish people at every opportunity.
My SNP colleagues and I have stood firmly against Westminster cuts to public services and vital social security such as pension credit, child benefit and disability benefits.
We have consistently opposed NHS privatisation, attacks on workers rights and the disgraceful treatment of WASPI women.
Whether it’s energy bills, the higher cost of food, or soaring rent and mortgage rates, Scotland is being dragged down by Westminster politics, and kept out of Europe against our wishes.
With your support, we can return a strong team of SNP MPs to Westminster to defend Scotland. Every vote for the SNP is a vote for Scotland to become an independent nation.
Best wishes,
Martyn Day.
