Aim
Reelect Angela Crawley as MP for Lanark & Hamilton East
Representing my home constituency of Lanark and Hamilton East for the past two years has been the privilege of a lifetime. It has been a pleasure to work with so many of you over the last few years, and I have started a number of positive projects that I want to continue to make the best of our towns, our villages, and our communities.
I have been able to tackle head-on the problems I witnessed growing up in the constituency, standing up to poverty, domestic violence and inequality. I have dealt with more than 4,000 constituent enquiries since my election in 2015, and have made myself as accessible as possible to constituents through my Hamilton and Lanark local offices, and through street surgery tours of the constituency.
I will be standing again in June to continue the good work that we have already started - standing up for my constituents at Westminster and making your voice heard. I believe I am the best representative to take on the real issues in our communities. I refuse to let the Tories get away with the damaging cuts to services which are hurting the worst off, and Labour have proved not to be effective as opposition to Theresa May's austerity-obsessed government.
But we need your help, Lanark & Hamilton East SNP has no funding from big business or trade unions. All our local campaigning is funded by our local members fundraising. Please help us my making a donation, no matter how small.
