Red Light. A short horror film about Skinwalkers

Aim
The fundraiser is to generate money to use for paying actors and to have funds for costume and makeup design. We aim to shoot in early 2024!
Synopsis
Late at night, Ashleigh faces a series of ominous events on her way home. Stopped by a temporary traffic light down an isolated country road, her car stalls just as the light changes. Unable to restart it, she becomes aware of strange noises from the nearby woods. As she investigates the sound, a disturbing presence emerges, prompting her to lock her doors. With no signal for help, she glimpses mysterious creatures outside her car, illuminated by the red glow of her brake lights. Terrified, Ashleigh finds herself in a tense situation as she is trapped alone with the creatures from the woods.
Red Light is a short horror film from writer/ director Jack Hutton. A Screenology student who aims to have this short be his greatest demonstration of work. his inspiration for horror themes and design come from many great films and filmmakers, focusing particularly on the idea that Less is More when it comes to delivering scares and building tension.
Red Light is a one location, performative short horror about Skinwalkers - Najavo folklore creatures that take on the appearance of animals. Popularised in recent years across the internet, Skinwalkers are an intriguing subject for any creature feature movie.
We aim for a modest funding total of £1000 with its primary intention to be used for funding the media makeup and SFX prosthetics and paying the actors a fair rate for their efforts both as human characters and the creatures. These are the primary requirements for funds as we intend to shoot the film on a next-to-nothing budget to showcase skills as a low budget Director and to prove that you don't need a huge budget to produce a captivating film.
