Recordare aim to raise £15,000 to bring our Debut Album 'Ever Changing Skies' to life with the Resonus Label.
We are thrilled to announce the creation of our first album, Ever Changing Skies, recorded with the acclaimed Resonus label and we need your help to make it a reality.
This milestone project brings the very essence of a Recordare concert right into your home, showcasing the vibrant, romantic sound, innovative programming and bold interpretations that define our chamber choir.
We’ve carefully created a beautiful, emotive and multi-faceted year-round journey through music with a very varied and captivating mix of secular repertoire, exploring the wonderful idiosyncracies of each season, with music spanning over 600 years from the 16th century right through to new music specially commissioned for the recording,
Ever Changing Skies sees the choir engage with a diverse palette of music from the Germanic, French and Scandanavian choral traditions as well as the very best of the British choral tradition, all of which we feel a deep connection with.
Supporting this recording project not only enables Recordare to create a lasting legacy, but also helps to generate important, sustainable work for young freelance creatives and a springboard for the choir to expand its influence, inspiring people, both young and old, to engage with classical music and ensure it’s continuation for years to come.
