Recent events in Gaza have drawn the world's attention to the brutal treatment that the Israeli army is meting out on the people of Gaza. In addition to the incessant bombing, deprivation of food, water, electricity, and power supplies has affected all our photographer colleagues there as well as the general population as a whole. Multiple war crimes have been committed, as the US, UK and EU stand by in their supine support for the State of Israel.
Our appeal aims to provide financial support for photographers in the Gaza Strip, who have lost family members, their homes and equipment. We are an international collective of photographers, with many colleagues currently under siege in Gaza. Since we are unable to contact most of them we are concerned that some may have perished in the brutal bombardment that is now taking place. We already know that one of our friends has lost a number of family members.
Please donate to this Crowdfunder to help our colleagues rebuild their lives once this brutal war is over.
