Join us on a mission to create London’s best Adventure Playground for the Tulse Hill community.
Our project
For years, the Tulse Hill Adventure Playground has been a vital space where local children and young people can come play, explore, create and make memories. Now’s time for the next chapter.
We have been busy rebuilding our play structures, transforming our youth work bus, introducing a nature garden and we are planning for our very own small animal area. High Trees’ vision is to make Tulse Hill Adventure Playground the best Adventure Playground in London. We want it to be a place where every child can play freely, courageously and joyfully.
We need your help on the final push to make our vision a reality!
How can you help?
Our building works are well under way, but we still need your support to complete the work and help us reopen to the community in spring 2026.
Help us raise £5,000 to finish the rebuild and make this the best Adventure Playground in London!
£500 will buy a year’s worth of food for our animals
£350 will pay for new music equipment for our revamped youth work bus
£250 will help us plant our fruit tree orchard as part of our community garden
£50 will buy gardening equipment to help us launch our food growing project
£20 will help buy play resources to use in our afterschool free play sessions
£10 will provide bulbs and seeds for greening the Adventure Playground.

In addition to the playground structures, we’re also creating a brand-new nature garden, we will increase opening hours and our range of activities and build a small animal area. We will keep pigs, chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs, and our very own Adventure cat. We will run a host of community events and welcome local schools during the day to enhance our student's education. We can’t wait to:
- Work with community volunteers in our new garden
- Grow delicious food with young people and cook it together
- Run a dedicated schools' programme for Lambeth students
- Work more closely with parents through increased activities and more holistic support
- See our young people care for the animals, which we know will provide respite, joy and help to develop a sense of responsibility.
Rebuilding Adventure will help us open our doors even wider to the whole community, by welcoming volunteers, community groups and hosting events.
