Help Reading Green Party get its message out to 45,000 households in Reading East.
We need you to pledge whatever you can afford to raise £800 to get our message on behalf of Green Party Parliamentary candidate Rob White through 45,000 letterboxes in Reading East.
Why We Need Your Help
The Green Party don’t have the big business backing of the establishment parties or UKIP. Campaigns are powered by our members and supporters. With a General Election only months away, we’re putting together plans to maximise our vote in Reading. In the last year we have doubled our membership in Reading and Wokingham, but we’re desperate to get our message out to as many people as possible. We stand for the common good, not narrow gain. We are proud to oppose austerity. We campaign for environmental justice so that future generations don’t suffer from our excesses. We believe these policies resonate with many outside our core membership, but we need the funds to spread the word.
Please spread the word with friends and family - together we can make it happen!
The Impact
Hitting our target will allow us to print 45,000 leaflets which the Royal Mail will deliver for free as part of the Freepost scheme.
The Freepost mailout will cost £800 and provides us with the perfect opportunity to get our policies to the people of Reading East. Our exclusion from the TV debates is unfair, but, with Freepost and your help, we can still reach the entire constituency.
The mailout will highlight Rob White's track record of affecting positive change in Reading and make the case for electing him to Westminster in May.
The small print
If your donation is over £50, under UK election law you need to be on the electoral register and we will need to know your name and address. Should you have any questions then please do not hesitate to get in touch with us at the project owner
