Aim: Reading Dussehra Diwali Festival is a free community event where we believe happiness multiplies when you spread it.
With your generous donations, we will be able to reach out to the broader community for a double celebration. First is celebrating the festival of light, Diwali, and the second is celebrating the victory of good over evil, the festival of Dussehra.
Traditionally on Dussehra, the effigy of demon king Raavan is burnt, which will be the focal point of this free community event, followed by a spectacular display of grand fireworks.
This community event is a fantastic opportunity to spread love and togetherness that builds community spirit and long-lasting friendships.
What we'll deliver:
- Deliver a fun, spectacular free community event
- Exclusive Ravan Dahan (burning of Ravan's effigy)
- Grand Fireworks Display
- Mouth-watering festive food stalls provided by local vendors
- Bollywood DJ & Live Dhol
- Ramayan Play
- Diwali Festival Shopping stalls
- Funfair Rides & Kids attraction
- Centre stage with various cultural performances, dance and music
