Reaching Heaven - Music Composed by James Trickey

In memory of James, we performed and recorded a concert of music he wrote. Any money raised over the cost of production, postage, and packaging of the CD will be given to The British Red Cross to support the current crisis appeals.

After James passed away, we organised a concert of music he composed, most of which his family and friends did not know existed. The concert took place in his college, Christ Church, Oxford, in the cathedral there. The concert was recorded and has been compiled into this CD. James’s piano sonata, recorded in Christ Church at a later date, is also on the CD.

The information booklet contains some photos of James, a general introduction and information about each piece. Where James' notes exist, the information is based on those notes. There has been a considerable amount of fundraising since James' death, organised by many people, for several different charities. We hope to continue this trend, knowing how much it means to James' family that so many people have been so supportive.
