Aim

Help me to be re-elected as your Green MSP for North East Scotland. Together, we can build a fairer, greener and more equal future for all.

It has been an honour and a privilege to serve communities across the North East since 2021. From Aberdeen to Angus, from our coastal towns to rural communities, I’ve listened to people’s experiences and worked alongside grassroots organisations, trade unions, and campaigners to push for change - both inside Parliament and beyond it.

I entered politics through activism, and I remain grounded in the belief that real change comes from people organising together. Whether it’s standing up for workers’ rights, defending public services, or demanding climate action, I’ve always worked to bring the voices of social movements into the heart of decision-making.

What I’ve stood for

During my time as an MSP, I’ve been a consistent voice for justice. I believe social justice, environmental justice and economic justice are inextricably linked - we cannot have one without the other two:

  • Workers’ rights and fair pay – supporting trade unions, advocating for fair wages, and challenging insecure work
  • Climate justice – pushing for urgent action that protects both people and planet, and fighting for a just transition for workers and communities
  • Housing justice – campaigning for affordable, secure homes and delivering stronger protections for tenants
  • Education and equalities – standing up for accessible education and defending the rights of marginalised communities
  • International solidarity – speaking out for human rights and justice globally, and challenging unethical practices
  • Grassroots democracy – amplifying the voices of campaigners, community groups, and activists in Parliament and beyond

This work is rooted in a simple belief: everyone deserves dignity, security, and a say in the decisions that shape their lives.

Why I’m standing again

We are living through a time of deep inequality and overlapping crises.

The cost of living continues to rise, while wealth remains concentrated in the hands of a few. Climate breakdown is accelerating, yet those least responsible are facing the harshest impacts. Public services are under pressure, and too many people feel unheard and left behind.

But I also see hope - in the strength of our communities, in the courage of campaigners, and in the growing demand for a better way of doing politics.

I’m standing again because:

  • We need bold action on climate and nature
  • We need economic justice, where wealth and power are shared more fairly
  • We need to strengthen democracy, putting people at the centre
  • And we need representatives who will stand alongside movements, not just speak about them

With your support, I will continue challenging injustice, holding power to account, and working hard for transformative change.

  • And justice is at the heart of every decision

With your support, we can re-elect a strong Green voice for North East Scotland, and keep pushing for the change we know is possible.
