Our aim is to re-elect David Drew as the Labour and Co-operative M.P. for Stroud so we can build a society that works for everyone.
It's time for a real change. This is our
chance to build a society that works for everyone, not just for the privileged few. We will end cuts and privatisation of our schools, NHS and other public services, and work to stop the planet from being destroyed by the greed of the big polluters. This election truly is a once-in-a-generation chance to transform our country. We need a caring government, not one that has driven millions of people into poverty, failed an entire generation of our children and young people, let wages stagnate, taken police off the streets, and increased homelessness and hardship up and down the country.
We deserve a government creating thousand of well-paid jobs as part of a Green Industrial Revolution. This will provide 850,000 jobs in the renewable energy sector, boost the UK economy by £800 billion, and save 6,000 lives each year with cleaner air,. We need a properly funded agricultural system that places farming and food quality at the heart of environmental sustainability and food security.
Over the years, David has campaigned alongside tens of thousands of people to save our schools and hospitals from closure, against the incinerator that blights our air and our landscape. More recently, David has campaigned for the people to be given the final say on Brexit, fought pension inequality, protested against the badger cull, and worked with struggling local companies to save jobs.
David Drew is the candidate who will ensure an environmentally and socially conscious representation for the Stroud constituency. A vote for anyone else on the 12th December will only help to keep the current government in power.
Please donate towards David's campaign and together we can build a better future.
We welcome all donations - whatever you feel able to afford - a few pounds can make all the difference. £10 buys 10 stakes with posters, £20 buys 500 leaflets.
You can also visit us at 12 King Street in Stroud (opposite Curio Lounge) if you would like to learn more, or help with our campaign.
