Help us re-elect Clare Haughey as our SNP MSP - to continue representing the communities in Blantyre, Halfway, Cambuslang and Rutherglen.
Clare Haughey was elected as the MSP for the constituency that she grew up in and still lives, Rutherglen, in May 2016 - becoming the first ever SNP MSP to represent the communities in Blantyre, Halfway, Cambuslang and Rutherglen. She was re-elected in 2021 on an increased turnout, with an increased majority.
She has been a mental health nurse for 30 years and specialises in issues before, after and during pregnancy. Clare is also passionate about workers’ rights - previously being a Divisional Convener at Unison.

The SNP always wants what’s best for Scotland, and your SNP government is working hard for Scotland.
We are making the NHS better. Under John Swinney, waiting times are falling and GP numbers are rising. New high street walk-in clinics will also mean easier access
to GPs.
Thanks to the SNP, people in Scotland get more help with living costs than anywhere else in the UK.
That includes long standing policies like free prescriptions, free tuition, and free bus travel for under 22s and over 60s, and new ones like abolishing peak rail fares and providing families with more wraparound care.
There’s even more we can do.
Given all our energy wealth, it makes no sense that we pay some of the highest bills in Europe, but that’s down to Westminster decisions. With independence we can lower energy bills - that’s the fresh start Scotland needs.
Why do we have a Crowdfunder?
Unlike the parties backed by business and billionaires, the SNP is overwhelmingly funded by its members and supporters. People like you. We always fundraise locally at election time, to allow us to build the strongest campaign possible.
How do we use the money we raise?
Every pound raised will be used to take our message direct to households right across Rutherglen, Cambuslang and Blantyre.
How much can I donate?
Please donate to help re-elect Clare Haughey and win this constituency again for the SNP. Donations of all sizes are very welcome.
