Target reached!

We will expand our project and invest in more resources.

Aim

We wish to teach disabled children in a deprived area of Dewsbury how to cook and grow their own food by establishing an allotment.

We are based in an area in the bottom 10% of most deprived communities in the country.  Families are struggling with the cost of living crisis and we are keen to be able to support them.  Our community is proud and they want to take owenership and shape their own fate, making the difference themselves.

We wish to buy resources to create an allotment, forest school and pond area.  The allotment to grow your own food, forest school to learn about nature, looking at the environment and living sustainable and the pond area to encourage nature to thrive in our urban area.

Our pupils are keen to be involved and see practical ways of changing their lifestyles, understanding the world we live in and encouraging nature to work her magic
