Aim
We're crowdfunding to help us finish and release our new album.
Hello! Randolph's Leap here. That's (some of) us in the photo, standing outside Dystopia studios where we're making a new album. It's going well. But we need your help to finish the recording sessions and get the album out.
We're working to make things sound as good as possible and it's shaping up to be our best one yet. But, particularly with an 8-piece band like us, there are some fairly significant costs involved and we're operating on a DIY level. So we'd love to include you in the journey.
We've set up some fun rewards you can receive in return, from handwritten lyric books to home demos to bespoke songs to house concerts.
If you'd just like a copy of the album, that's great. We're offering that too. You'll pay a little bit more by pledging now but you'll get your name in the liner notes and you'll receive your copy as soon as its ready, ahead of general release.
This'll be our first album since 2021's Spirit Level and we're very excited to get these new songs finished and released and start performing them live.
There are 10 songs on the album and, as ever, they're upbeat, melodic and lyrical. We've also been experimenting with new sounds, textures and influences. We think you'll like it.
We are delighted to have been awarded Match Funding from the Creative Scotland Crowdmatch Fund. This means Creative Scotland will match your first pledge up to a maximum of £250!
Let's do it!
