Raising money for a football team in recovery....

Aim
To kit out the team with new strips, tracksuits, rain jackets and football related equipment for the upcoming season...
Hi I am Ross Gardner,
I am a recovered gambling, cocaine and alcoholic. I also have suffered with mental health issues since I was 16.
Football gave me peace from that and I was lucky to captain England u15's - u20's and play in the Football Championship and League One.
Now aged 36, recovered from my addictions and living life on life's terms, I am now trying to give some unity and time back to fellow addicts and mental health sufferers by playing for the local recovery team, where my recovery meetings are each week, George Street Social FC.
This team gives us all a safe space to share what's on our minds and get all our frustrations out on the pitch (especially our captain Dan)
Just a bunch of lads trying to deal with life, whilst being an addict.
