Hank the Tank, our Mr Shmoo, is only six and a half years old. He is our gentle giant, a big goofy bear with the sloppiest dribble and the softest heart. Everywhere he goes, people smile. He leans his whole weight into you for cuddles, looks at you like you are his entire world, and loves without limits.

Hearing the word osteosarcoma felt like the ground disappeared beneath us. He is still so full of life, still so ready to play, still so full of love to give. It is unbearably unfair.

We cannot change his diagnosis, but we can change how his story continues. We want his final months to be filled with comfort, pain relief, treats, adventures, and endless affection. We were about to move to a house with a big garden just for him, and our biggest hope is that he will get to feel that grass under his paws.
