Why donate?

Help fix the roof of our much-loved and cherished E17 community space. 

*Photos taken earlier this year. Work has since been carried out to make this unnoticeable so that The Mill remains safe, warm and welcoming. However, this is only a temporary solution with donations going towards a long term fix that will protect the building for many more years to come. 

Our roof has sprung a leak! We are raising money to help go towards much needed repair work. If you can, please donate to win some incredible prizes but also to help fix the roof of an important community space in E17. 

About The Mill - “Walthamstow's Living Room”

The Mill is a local charity run by a small team of staff and 80+ amazing volunteers. Our community is friendly, diverse and inclusive, everyone is welcome!

The Mill is a warm and welcoming place to enjoy a hot drink, read a newspaper or magazine, play a game, or create some art. Borrow a book from our Honesty Library, or let your children play in the free playroom. There’s always lots of low cost/free activities, groups and events on, and something for everyone!

Powered by the community! The Mill exists because people in the local community decided they wanted to save a space that meant something to them. It’s all about your ideas, your energy, your community spirit. Everyone can take part, making it an even better place.
