3 x Scafell Pike in 24 Hours: A Record-Breaking Mountain Challenge!

Over the bank holiday weekend of 28th–31st August, I am taking on the biggest physical test of my life: attempting to climb Scafell Pike three times in just 24 hours.

Scafell Pike is England’s highest and toughest mountain, standing at 978 metres (3,209 feet). Reaching the summit once is a huge achievement for most adults—doing it three times back-to-back in a single 24 hours means tackling over 2,700 metres (almost 9,000 feet) of relentless vertical ascent. That is similar to climbing Mount Olympus!

Why This Challenge?

After searching extensively online, we haven't been able to find any record of a child ever completing this challenge before.

This isn't just about pushing personal limits; it's an opportunity to attempt a potential world-first effort. It’s going to take incredible grit, stamina and determination to keep pushing when fatigue sets in—especially through the night.

The Team & Safety First

I won't be tackling the mountain alone! I’ve recruited a fantastic team of friends to join me so we can keep each other motivated through every steep incline and tired step.

Because safety is our top priority on a challenge of this scale, my Dad—who is a qualified Mountain Leader—will be supervising us throughout the entire 24 hours. He'll be keeping a close eye on weather conditions, pacing, navigation and safety protocols so we can focus on reaching the top.

How You Can Support

A challenge this big needs a community behind it. I am asking for your support to help fuel every step of this attempt.

Here is how you can help us reach the finish line:

Sponsor the Challenge: Any donation—big or small—will directly support my target and give us the boost we need when the legs start to burn. I have just over £1200 of the total £3500 left to raise.

Share the Page: Word of mouth is huge! Please share this link with friends, family, and outdoor enthusiasts on social media.

Leave a Message of Support: Your words of encouragement will mean the world to us during our training and on the mountain itself.

Thank you so much for backing us on this epic mountain challenge!
