Rafferty Phillips - World Scout Jamboree

Aim

My name is Rafferty, and I am a proud member of 3rd Wigton Sea Scouts. I am representing the UK at the World Scout Jamboree in Poland 2027

My name is Rafferty, and I am a proud member of 3rd Wigton Sea Scouts. I am asking if you would consider supporting me as I work towards an incredible opportunity: representing the UK at the World Scout Jamboree.

I have been selected to attend this once-in-a-lifetime international event, where Scouts from all over the world come together to learn new skills, take on adventurous challenges, and build friendships across cultures. To take part, I need to raise £3,500, which will help cover travel, accommodation, training, and programme costs.

To reach this goal, I am appealing to individuals and local businesses for help—either through a financial donation or by contributing an item or voucher for a raffle or fundraising event. Any support you can offer, big or small, would be hugely appreciated and would make a real difference to my fundraising efforts.

In return, I would be happy to:

• Acknowledge your business in my fundraising materials or social media posts
• Display your logo on posters at events
• Share updates about my journey and experience before and after the Jamboree

By supporting me, you’ll not only be helping a young person achieve a major milestone but also contributing to a project that promotes global understanding, leadership, and community spirit.

Thank you very much for taking the time to consider my request. I would be delighted to follow up in person, by phone, or by email if you’d like any more information.
