This prize draw is running to raise money for urgent and essential repairs to our radio ship 'Ross Revenge' in dry dock to secure her future
The Prize
Our prize draw is for a rare copy of ‘Radio Caroline – The All Day Music Station’ Annual, published in 1965. The book salutes the top bands and artists of the time as well as the Radio Caroline disc jockeys and includes articles on The Beatles. The Searchers, Dave Clark, ships Ella Fitzgerald, Billy Fury, The Hollies, Peter Noone, Caroline stories and more. It contains dozens of photos, in colour as well as black and white, and has features about pop, blues and jazz. Very good used condition. hardback, 10” x 12”. Small personal inscription on inside of page 1.

The Cause
‘Ross Revenge' is in urgent need of dry docking, where surveys and important maintenance can be carried out. Our prize draws will supplement our fundraising appeal to achieve our goal of securing the future of our historic ship for generations to come. The former pirate radio ship 'Ross Revenge' is still regularly broadcasting at sea today and more than 1,200 visitors tour the ship each year. The vessel is an important part of both deep sea fishing and broadcasting history. To lose her would be a tragedy.
