Why we're raising money...
Raco Verd is raising funds in aid of Alzheimer's Research UK. It is a cause very close to our hearts. Clare's (who has run Raco with her husband Sam for almost 20 years) beautiful mum died of Alzheimer's earlier this year. Tens of millions of people are affected by Alzheimers and dementia throughout the world. As yet, we do not have a cure.
Clare has been lucky enough to have been given a place to run the 2026 TCS London Marathon for Alzheimer's Research UK. The charity is the leading dementia research charity in the UK: The charity strives for a global cure, by revolutionising the way dementia is treated, diagnosed and prevented.
As well as entering in the Prize Draw, we are also organising a Charity Fashion Show on Friday, September the 19th at Raco Verd in San Jose, Ibiza. Music will be provided by the fabulous DJ Ainsley May. The prize draw will take place on that night. Please come along to support a great cause! There are no entrance fees for the event.
