Fundraiser Update ❤️

I just wanted to post a little update to let everyone know that I will be closing the fundraiser on Sunday 27th September. This is the earliest date that Crowdfunder will allow me to close it.

I have been completely overwhelmed by the kindness, support and generosity that has been shown to me following the incident in Edinburgh last Saturday.

The funds raised have far exceeded anything I could have expected, and my Pipe Major and Headmaster are both delighted that a negative event has turned into something positive for the school pipe band.

It is now time for me to move forward with my life. 🎶 🥁 

I have been made aware of some unkind comments online. I would simply ask that people continue to show kindness and remember that me and my family are people. 

Thank you once again to every single person who has donated, shared the fundraiser, sent a message, offered support or simply thought of me and my family over the last few days. Your kindness has meant more to us than we can put into words.

Love has succeeded over hate. ❤️
