Bringing coffee, conversation and community to Stoke-on-Trent before taking Grab Your Brew to events across the UK.
Grab Your Brew started with two people, a microphone, and a love of stories, community and coffee.
What began as a podcast has quickly grown into something much bigger. Through sharing conversations online and connecting with people in our local area, we realised there was something missing in many of our communities - welcoming spaces where people can slow down, connect and simply enjoy a good coffee together and genuine conversations.
As two neurodivergent founders, creating that kind of environment is deeply personal to us. We know what it feels like to struggle to fit into traditional social spaces, which is why we want Grab Your Brew to feel genuinely welcoming, relaxed and judgement-free. We want to create not only a place where people can grab a drink, but somewhere people feel comfortable being themselves, sharing stories, and feeling heard. Giving a voice to people and communities who often feel overlooked is a huge part of why we started podcasting in the first place.
That’s where the idea for our mobile coffee trailer was born.
We want to bring high-quality speciality coffee to parks, markets, car boot sales, community spaces and events across Stoke-on-Trent, before eventually travelling to festivals and events across the UK. But Grab Your Brew is about more than drinks. We want to create moments. Somewhere people can stop for five minutes, chat, laugh, tell stories and feel part of something local and genuine.
Alongside serving coffee, we’ll continue podcasting on location - visiting events, meeting people, supporting local communities and documenting the journey as Grab Your Brew grows. We believe this makes us different from a traditional coffee business. People won’t just be supporting a trailer - they’ll be following and helping build a real story from the very beginning.
The money raised will help us purchase and equip our coffee trailer, secure licences and insurance, buy essential equipment and stock, and professionally launch the business through branding, social media and community outreach.
We’ve already carried out local market research with over 120 survey responses, which showed strong demand for mobile coffee services in our area. Forest Park and Longton Park were among the most requested locations, and over 90% of respondents said they would visit weekly or more.
This project means a huge amount to us personally. We are passionate about building something welcoming, community-focused and sustainable - something that grows from local roots into a recognisable travelling brand.
We’re not just asking people to fund a coffee trailer.
We’re asking them to help us build Grab Your Brew from the ground up - one brew, one conversation and one community at a time.
