Help us to make our Team England journey to Orlando 2027 for the ICU Cheer World Championships!

Who are we?

THREE GIRLS. ONE TEAM. ONE INCREDIBLE JOURNEY.

Three local young cheerleaders from Buckinghamshire have achieved an incredible sporting milestone — Annabelle from Bierton, Ella from Waddesdon and Lacey from Aylesbury have all been selected to represent Team England Youth for the 2026/27 season!

All three girls have trained for a number years at Aylesbury Cheerleading Academy (ACA), dedicating countless hours to developing their skills, strength, teamwork and performance.

In April this year, their hard work took them to The Summit in Orlando, Florida, one of the most prestigious elite-level cheerleading competitions in the world, where they represented ACA as members of Apollo and Painted Ladies.

Now they have the opportunity to take the next step in their sporting journeys — joining the national youth team and representing their country on the world stage!

WHAT IS CHEERLEADING?

Cheerleading is a high energy, competitive, team sport that combines tumbling, stunting, jumps and dance into a fast paced, synchronised routine. It is spectacular to watch and is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK, and the sport will be debuting at The World Games in Karlsruhe, Germany in 2029! Routines rely on teamwork, and skills take time to learn, develop and perfect.

Cheer athletes build more than physical ability; they grow teamwork, resilience, confidence, commitment, and discipline — qualities that shape them long after they leave the mat.

Why are we crowdfunding?

THE ROAD TO ORLANDO 2027

The 2026/27 Team England season will involve intensive training and preparation, culminating in the ICU World Cheerleading Championships in Orlando, Florida, in April 2027.

This is an extraordinary opportunity, but it comes with significant costs. As self-funded athletes, the girls and their families are responsible for the financial commitment involved in participating in the Team England programme.

BECOME PART OF OUR JOURNEY

We are inviting local businesses to become sponsors and help these three young athletes achieve their dream of representing England in Orlando.

Your support will not simply contribute towards a sporting trip. It will help three determined young people develop their confidence, resilience, discipline, teamwork and ambition while competing at one of the highest levels of their sport on the international stage at the home of cheerleading - America.

In return, we want to celebrate and promote the local businesses that help make their journey possible!

How we’ll spend the money raised

OUR FUNDRAISING TARGET: £7,000

We are aiming to raise approximately £7,000 to help meet the costs associated with this incredible opportunity, including:

• Team England fees for gym hire and training
• Competition and athlete costs
• Flights, accommodation and travel to training in Orlando
• UK travel to weekly/fortnightly stunt group training across the country, and whole team training
• Specialist sports travel insurance

WHY SUPPORT US?

We are proud to be three young athletes from our local community who have worked hard to reach the national stage.

We have already experienced the excitement of competing internationally at The Summit in Orlando at an elite competition. Now, representing Team England gives us the opportunity to take that achievement even further!

We would love local businesses to join us, support our journey and share in the excitement of seeing three Buckinghamshire girls represent their country. Please see the rewards section for details of how your business can become involved.

Local businesses who sponsor us will receive:

  • Positive community visibility
  • Association with youth achievement and national representation
  • Promotion across social media, fundraising, and local networks

Your support becomes part of their story — and your brand becomes part of their national sporting journey!

Do you have a different idea of how you would like to support or sponsor us? If your business has a unique idea — product donation or raffle prize, bespoke sponsorship, fundraising collaboration - please get in touch as we would love to hear from you and to discuss any ideas!

THREE GIRLS. ONE TEAM. ONE INCREDIBLE JOURNEY.

CAN YOU HELP US GET TO ORLANDO?

Every contribution, large or small, brings us one step closer to the World Championships.

Your sponsorship will help us as three determined young athletes:

  • Represent England
  • Compete at a high level in our sport at an international competition
  • Inspire other young people in Buckinghamshire
  • Continue building confidence, resilience, and ambition

How you can help

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.

1. Make a pledge. Please don’t delay if you’re going to support us by sponsoring because momentum is key to our success!

2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.

3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!

4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!

Thank you for supporting local youth sport!
