Boop The Snoot Animal Sanctuary

Aim

To create an public-facing animal sanctuary and rehoming centre for animals in need

Hi and thank you for viewing my project! Boop The Snoot Animal Sanctuary is a rather ambitious project to say the least; and a costly one at that. It seems almost impossible and a pipe dream, but I’m determined! In the face of rising costs and more and more animal cruelty cases on the rise, something like this is more crucial than ever. For ALL animals, not just the cute ones. Here’s what I would like Boop the Snoot to be:

- self funding animal sanctuary that doesn’t rely on donations - it would rely on an on-site cafe and other business activities to ensure the animals always come first!
- educational talks and visits so the public can learn about the various animals and inspire better animal husbandry
- responsible rehoming where potential adopters can come spend time with the animals, home checks etc
- animal boarding and livery service
- woodland conservation
- onsite restaurant and cafe serving ethical meals
- wild camping and glamping pods on hadrians wall in the dark sky zone
-  24/7 cctv and animal care which the public can view

How would Boop the Snoot benefit the community?
- increase tourism in the area

- provide jobs and work experience in the animal care industry 

- offer services like animal boarding and livery services as well as promoting horse riding and education for disabled people and children 

- conservation of woodland 

- activities for tourists and locals 

- use of local products and suppliers 

how would the money be spent?

- lease of land/property

- animal enclosures/housing and initial cost of feed/bedding/enrichment

- animal transport and equipment
