This weekend, many people will take to the streets to make their voices heard. For most, the day will end peacefully. But for some, it may mean an arrest — and for their families, it can mean devastation. At Unseen Victims , we know all too well that this can happen to anyone. When a loved one is suddenly taken into custody, families are left frightened, confused, and unsure where to turn. Immediate support is crucial — for those left behind to pick up the pieces.
Unseen Victims is a Community Interest Company that exists solely to support families affected by arrest and imprisonment regardless of the crime. We are led by people with lived experience of every step of the criminal justice system, and we understand the hidden impact arrests and imprisonment have on families.

Immediate response for anyone who approaches us for support.
Support with prison visits – ensuring families can stay connected even when miles apart.
Help with keeping in contact – covering phone calls, emails, and other costs that are often unaffordable.
Safe social media which is carefully moderated to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all, regardless of their reason for reaching out.
Dedicated one-to-one support – from a compassionate team who truly understands the journey.
Digital support groups and resources – providing 24/7 connection and peer-to-peer advice when families need it most. 🙌
We are 100% Volunteer-Led Our founder, emma Wells, gives her time freely and personally funds the digital side of Unseen Victims so families can stay connected and supported online. None of our moderators or team members are paid — every hour is given voluntarily, with love and commitment to families who need us.
