Help Us Build Our Dream on 10 Acres

Aim

We're raising our first £50,000 towards our dream of owning land, building a home and creating a safe haven for rescue farm animals.

We've always dreamed of having our own little piece of land.

Somewhere we can build a home, have space to breathe, grow our own food, spend more time outdoors and create a life that feels a little slower and more meaningful.

We'd also love for that land to become a safe and happy home for rescue farm animals one day; chickens, goats and other animals that need a second chance.

And recently, we found something that made that dream suddenly feel a lot more real.

10 acres of land.

It already has planning permission for a house, and it is honestly the kind of place we've always imagined when we talk about having our own land.

There's just one rather large problem...

It's £395,000. 

We know that's a huge amount of money, and we're not expecting someone to simply make that happen for us.

Instead, we're starting at the beginning.

We're going to save, work towards it, document the journey and see just how far we can get.

Our first goal: £50,000

Rather than putting the enormous £395,000 figure in front of everyone, we've decided to start with a much smaller milestone.

£50,000.

This will help us take those first serious steps towards the dream; researching opportunities, travelling to view land, getting advice and putting ourselves in a stronger position to eventually make it happen.

Our dream isn't just about owning land. It's about what we hope to create there.

A home for our family.

A place where we can grow our own food.

A space where our children can enjoy nature and learn where things come from.

And, hopefully one day, a little safe haven for rescue farm animals who deserve a loving home; from chickens and goats to whatever animals we are able to responsibly care for. 

We're only at the very beginning, but we'd love to share every step of the journey with you.
