Who are we?
V3 Transport Services is proud to organise the 2026 Charity Shield, a community-focused 11-a-side football match raising money for Dementia UK.
The Charity Shield brings together local players, supporters, families and businesses for a fantastic day of football while supporting an incredibly important cause. The 2026 fixture will see Hanley Swan take on Worcester Phoenix at Worcester FA Stadium in what promises to be a competitive and entertaining match for all ages.
Our aim is simple: to use the power of sport to bring people together and raise vital funds to support people and families affected by dementia.
Why are we crowdfunding?
We are aiming to raise £2,500 through this Crowdfunder to support Dementia UK and the vital work they do providing specialist dementia care and support to families across the UK.
Dementia affects thousands of families every year, and the support provided by Dementia UK's specialist Admiral Nurses helps people navigate some of the most challenging times in their lives.
Every donation will help us maximise the impact of the 2026 Charity Shield and ensure that as much money as possible reaches the charity. By supporting this project, you are helping to fund dementia care, support services and ongoing research that can improve the lives of those living with dementia and their loved ones.
The event will take place on Sunday 12th July 2026, with a 12:00pm kick-off at Worcester FA Stadium, Claines Lane, Worcester, and everyone is welcome to attend.
How we'll spend the money raised
We are committed to ensuring that the funds raised make the biggest possible difference.
Our target is £2,500, which will be used to support Dementia UK's work in providing specialist dementia care and family support
Every pound donated helps support families affected by dementia and contributes to improving care and understanding of the condition.
