Aim
Our horror feature film, Genesis, is 98% complete. We have 2 days shooting left and are looking for final backers to get us over the line.
WHAT'S THE FILM ABOUT?
Genesis tells the story of Lily and Charlie Wray, a thirtysomething couple trapped in a co-dependent marriage held together by denial, secrecy, and lies.
When the enigmatic Sam and Hannah arrive at their isolated rural home, they seem at first like eccentric new neighbours. But their presence quickly becomes invasive.
They draw closer, crossing boundaries with unsettling ease, until Lily and Charlie find that what is being threatened is not only their relationship, but their very sense of self.
As Sam and Hannah begin to take hold of their lives, Lily and Charlie’s sanity starts to fracture. What begins as an awkward encounter with strangers becomes a nightmare of manipulation, possession, and identity collapse.
To survive, Lily and Charlie must confront the wounds they have hidden from each other — and from themselves — before Sam and Hannah take everything from them.
Genesis is a disturbing, intimate horror film about love, shame, identity, and the terror of losing control of your own body.
WHY NOW?
Often crowdfunders are asking people to invest in a dream. That's not the case with Genesis. The film is 98% finished. What we have left to do - and why we are running this campaign - is shoot two small but important scenes and then production is complete. That's where you come in. You get to be a backer and help us finish a feature film, one that is inches from the finishing line. Not only that but we have some fantastic rewards, such as exclusive merchandise and invitations to a private screening, so you can get in early before we send the film to global festivals.
WHO ARE YOU?
Genesis is being made by an independent team of professional actors, filmmakers, and collaborators who have already brought the majority of the film to life.
Our cast and crew have worked across film, television, theatre, music, advertising, and the arts, with credits connected to productions and organisations including The Enfield Poltergeist, The Death of Robin Hood, Doctor Who, Fantastic Four, EastEnders, Say Nothing, Charlotte, Glyndebourne Opera, The Dutch National Ballet, The National Gallery, Vice, and the artist Aurora.

BEYOND THE FINAL TWO DAYS
If we exceed our target, any additional money will go toward restoring a small number of extra scenes we had to drop for budget reasons. These are not essential to completing the film, but they would add texture, atmosphere, and depth to the world of Genesis. Hitting our main goal means we can finish the film. Going beyond it would allow us to bring back some of the moments we would love to shoot if the support is there. So please donate and share.
