As Rupert turns 1, we’re asking people to donate just £1 to help support his future 💙

Rupert lives with Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood (AHC), an ultra-rare life-threatening neurological condition.

In his first year, Rupert has faced more than most people do in a lifetime — seizures, paralysis, breathing emergencies and countless hospital admissions — but through it all, he continues to smile 🌈

There is currently no cure for AHC, but ongoing development of treatment and a cure is taking place in the USA linked to ATP1A3 mutations like Rupert’s.

That’s why we continue fundraising through Rupert’s Rainbow — so we can be financially ready when those treatment opportunities become available and give Rupert the best chance of celebrating many more birthdays 💜
