The Prize
A prize draw for a signed Reo Hatate No.41 Celtic Jersey special edition with the iconic Celtic Cross logo in recognition of National Famine Commemoration Day as worn by the Celtic team that won the 2025/2026 Scottish Premiership Championship on May 16th 2026 at Celtic Park.
Comes with certificate of authenticity and a special Celtic gift box.
The Cause
We are raising much needed funds for a new and lasting memorial for 10 boys from Achill Island in Ireland that were killed in a bothy fire in Kirkintilloch on September 16th 1937.
The 90th anniversary is in 2027 and we are raising funds for a new memorial at the same site at Eastside in Kirkintilloch.
We have a small committee based in Kirkintilloch and with the support of East Dunbartonshire Council, we have permission to mount a lasting memorial at the same site where the 10 boys perished along with a bench and information board.
So far we have raised over £9,000 and would like to raise more for a proper memorial that will last a long time and to ensure it is well maintained.
How to Enter
Tickets are £5 each ( or 5 for £20)

QR codes and a link will be available on our website and on flyers across outlets (TBA)
Cash tickets can also be purchased at McGinleys Bar (with further outlets to follow)
Draw will finish on 9pm Tuesday 30th June,2026.
Please do not put your entry as anonymous as it will be difficult to contact that person when it comes to the live draw.
Winners will be announced on our website and the Facebook group of the same name.
A random name generator will be used with video proof of the draw available on the website. KBFM2027 committee will have the final say and entrants must be 18+.
A live draw will possibly be done but this will depend on our availability at the time of the draw.
