Help Dreamscape Create Safe Community Spaces

Aim

To fund low-pressure community spaces now, and help Dreamscape grow towards its own safe, welcoming base.

Dreamscape Community Connections C.I.C. was created to help people who often feel left out, overwhelmed, lonely or unsure where they fit.

We support neurodivergent people, including those with ADHD, autism, PDA, OCD and similar needs, as well as people experiencing anxiety, low confidence, isolation or big life changes.

Our aim is simple: to create calm, welcoming community spaces where people do not have to mask, explain themselves or arrive feeling confident. They can come exactly as they are.

Dreamscape currently runs low-pressure meet-ups, creative sessions, social events, walks, meals, board game evenings and gentle community connection across Heanor, Ilkeston and surrounding areas.

This Crowdfunder will help us cover the costs needed to keep these spaces running safely and sustainably while we grow.

The money raised will help with:

💜 volunteer and Community Companion training
💜 sponsored spaces for people who cannot afford to attend
💜 printed information, welcome packs and outreach materials
💜 building towards Dreamscape having its own future community space

Long term, our dream is to have our own safe, gentle Dreamscape space — a place where people can come for connection, creativity, reassurance and community without pressure.

This project matters because loneliness and isolation can affect anyone, but for neurodivergent people and those with anxiety, simply walking into a new space can feel impossible.

Dreamscape is here to make that first step feel softer.
