Aim
To setup an online e-learning business for the tutoring of English as a foreign language (or 'TEFL'), specialising in 'Business English'.
Like many others, my income has been dramatically affected by the Covid19 pandemic. In uncertain times, it’s easy to wallow & focus on the negatives, but they can also be periods of great reflection, perspective & change.
So on the suggestion of a good friend, I purchased a premier TEFL course which I recently completed, a course which qualifies me to teach English as a foreign language online. I'm also about to undertake an add-on course in Business English. There are opportunities waiting for me to gain the experience I need, but my primary aim is to start my own online tutoring business, specialising in 'Business English', a growing field within the wider EFL industry. All I need to be able to do this, is a laptop, headset, and some budget for website design & marketing.
After establishing myself, I plan to scale up 'Business English Online' by expanding it into a platform for other Business English tutors.
As soon as I raise the funds & have the tools I require, I will of course update everyone on here. I'm also happy to keep anyone (who's interested) updated as to the development of the business, and indeed anyone who might want to get involved.
