Aim

To help Amir rebuild his life after the war. Any contribution — small or large — supports his travel, documents, and a safe new start.

Amir al Shorpasy is just 21.

But in Gaza, 21 is not young — it’s a miracle.

The war has ended, but its shadows are still everywhere.

Amir survived what countless others did not. Every breath he takes today is a reminder of the battles he lived through — and the life he’s still trying to rebuild.

While youth around the world plan their degrees, careers, and adventures, Amir spent his early years counting drones, smoke, and shattered days.

He doesn’t remember a normal childhood — only survival.

He saw classmates buried before they ever grew into adults.

He watched children dig through rubble searching for a toy — or a sibling.

He walked streets where laughter once lived, streets that turned into dust and grief.

And yet, Amir kept walking.

Today, the bombs are silent — but the scars remain.

Amir refuses to let those scars define the rest of his life.

He’s trying to rebuild, to chase a future he was never allowed to dream of.

Now, by candlelight, he writes poetry about hope, dignity, and the world he wishes to see.

He still smiles at his little sister, hiding his pain so she can feel safe again.

He doesn’t dream for himself alone — he dreams of building a life beyond war.

Amir is not a statistic.

Not a headline.

Not someone the world should forget now that the noise has stopped.

He is a son, a brother, a poet, a survivor — a young man trying to take his first real step toward a life of safety, work, and opportunity.

Right now, Amir is gathering every possible resource to travel, rebuild his future, and finally live in a place where safety is not a dream but a reality.

✨ Your kindness can help him take that step.

💛 Whether it’s $5, $10, or whatever you can give, it can help Amir afford travel, documents, and a chance to start over somewhere safe.
Please help if you can. And if you can’t donate, sharing his story keeps his voice alive.

Amir al Shorpasy is 21.

Still breathing.

Still hoping.

Still asking the world to see him — not as a survivor of war, but as a young man trying to finally live.
