Aim

The aim of this faith based project is to spread the gospel through Sport by a podcast documenting the testimonies of various athletes

Witness collective is a project created by myself and a group of friends with the intent to spread the gospel and bring about the word of God and what a better way to do it than through sport- The passion of our lives. We firmly believe God only uses us for his will and schemes truly through the talents and passions of which we were created to use. Sport is our talent and our way to come to understanding of things, it’s how we‘ve grown- this is where we are at our happiest because here we know and love God The most.

For myself it has always been football- the game through which i’ve learnt so much about myself but also about God’s character. This is the desire that brought me to create the podcast as a Christian competing daily as an athlete. Just like the attitude of my efforts on the football pitch- everything is given into His hands in the building of this project.

Using the contemporary medium of a podcast- we want to hear from athletes about their life of sport but most importantly how this makes their faith in God so special. Everyone has something to offer- through testimonies we can learn so much. I firmly believe for christians every testimony is a gift to share your life story- by God’s will, the experiences you go through and the things you learn happen so you can tell others about it. Why waste that?

Even if you don’t stand alike with our love in sport, we also think with athletes being great role models, the project is developing into a great media source for children and young adults. The stories of sport can be ones that have proven in the past to shape societies.

Donations give us the access to make all of what we are trying to achieve possible, leaving it also in the best shape for God’s hands to do what he will with it.

The funding will help us to tell and share the stories in the best format- meaning we deliver the best quality content, spreading the good news to as many people as we can.

Donations go towards:

• Affording Podcast equipment
• Paying for production software
• Paying support staff
• Affording the editing software
• The podcast studio/securing a suitable location
• Social media fees
• Advertisement of the podcast- so the project can be heard by more

Anything you could give would be greatly appreciated- as a crowdfunded project every last bit goes towards improving the content and building the community. Really the success we have in spreading the message.
