Short Film: Still Waters Run Deep

Aim
Student short film following Grace as she is haunted by the true circumstances surrounding her sisters death and is forced to confront it
We are determined to create a 10 minute short film to the best of our abilities and we need your help in order to do it
The project is a part of our course in Independent Filmmaking at Futureworks in Salford, Manchester. This is a passion project for us and we’ve poured our hearts into it. With help from other students across filmmaking courses within our university to create a great crew, we aim to submit this film to festivals such as Bolton Film Festival and Manchester Film Festival
The film follows heavy themes such as grief and mental health issues. It is a psychological thriller that is made to make the audience feel things they can’t necessarily explain.
However with us being students, resources and budgeting is extremely limited and puts our film at risk of not being what we know it can be.
