Green Gathering Tickets for Peaceful Prisoners.
These days increasing numbers of people are going to prison for peaceful protests mainly related to climate or Palestine.
Prison is pretty grim but these actions have brought matters to public attention and change is in the air.
As a small thank you and show of respect in 2025 the Green Gathering gave free tickets to peaceful prisoners and provided a space in the Speakers Forum for them to say their piece. (1)
But in 2026 there are many more released peaceful prisoners. The Green Gathering has 20 tickets to give away but there will be more than 20 recently released and deserving activists, so we are asking you to chip in to provide additional tickets
Tickets to the 4 day 100% renewably powered Green Gathering cost from £175. If you could pay for one whole ticket for a peaceful prisoner, that would be magnificent! But honestly, any and all donations, large or small, towards the cost of tickets will be massively appreciated - have a read below for just how much our 2025 peaceful prisoners gained from their Green Gathering experience

Having recently been released from prison after a seven month stay, it was incredibly valuable to be able to attend the Green Gathering and connect not only with others who had been imprisoned for non-violent direct action, but so many other amazing and supportive people throughout the weekend. For me the wonderful thing about going to Green Gathering was the real sense of camaraderie and care towards those who need support, which is so important to cultivate in social spaces; and a push back to the commercialisation of festivals which is so prevalent these days. Francesca N
Attending Green Gathering a few months after release from prison was such a valuable experience. It was a place to reconnect with so many people I hadn’t seen in over a year, an opportunity to be back with the community that prison had torn me from, and have discussions of things I deeply value. Leaving prison is a pretty destabilising experience, and it’s easy to feel lost with what the next steps would be. Having Green Gathering in my calendar gave me something to look forward to! Rosa H
