To support Zoo Food, Shaldon Wildlife Trust and the Little Fire Face Project through a sponsored wheelchair push!
Zoo Food@Shaldon Wildlife Trust is a volunteer run project growing fresh organic produce for the animals at Shaldon Wildlife Trust. We run on a very limited budget but aspire to produce fresh, organic, low carbon footprint food for our partner zoo as well as get local volunteers involved in getting outdoors.

We want to grow Zoo Food as well as give money to Shaldon Wildlife Trust for the amazing work they do with endangered species as well as provide funding to the Little Fire Face Project, which focuses on the conservation of the critically endangered Java slow loris.
The money we raise will be split 3 ways. All funds raised will help the running of the supported projects.
For Shaldon Wildlife Trust : Funds will buy; animal food, Electricity required to run the zoo, Enrichment equipment including timed feeders for nocturnal animals
For Little Fireface Project (Java) : Reforestation to support the reintroduction of Slow Lorises, Tracking devices to monitor animals in the wild, One month’s salary for a wildlife ranger
For Zoo Food: Compost and compost bins, Plant trays, Polytunnel coverings, Greenhouse glass.
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. Fundraise for us. If you are able, why not join us on the sponsored wheelchair push at Dawlish Seafront at 10AM on the 20th June 2026.
