The Richmond Preachathon

Aim

The Preachathon is a dawn to dusk feat of preaching to raise funds for new bells for 'Richmond and the Richmond Soup Kitchen

The new rector of Richmond Team Mi is undertaking a remarkable marathon preaching session at St Mary Magdalene church. He has three main aims

1 – to help the bell ringers reach their fund raising target for new bells

2 – to support the work of the Richmond Soup Kitchen

3 – to introduce himself to the wider public of Richmond

 The bell ringers began fund raising last year and now we are making a final push to pay for the new bells and belfry restoration. We want to secure bell ringing and the sound of bells in Richmond for centuries to come.

 The Preachathon is a dawn to dusk feat of preaching by Robert Stanier within a programme that includes well known guests in conversation with him.
