Worcester Community Garden is run entirely by volunteers on organic and no dig principles, providing a unique space for the community.
What do we do?
Our main focus is to provide people with the opportunity to learn new skills and gain valuable training and work experience. The garden includes a number of ‘small garden spaces‘ designed to provide ideas and inspiration.
We are part of Transition Worcester, which is committed to developing resilience and a more sustainable way of living within the community in the face of climate change and fossil fuel depletion.
The garden evolves and develops thanks to the skills, ideas and enthusiasm that our volunteers bring and the spirit of collaboration and community we all treasure.
Why do we need your help?
Several of our raised beds were severely damaged when a tree came down in recent high winds, four of these beyond repair. This has greatly reduced our growing space. As an unexpected additional expense, it is vital that we raise additional funds to support the repair and replacement of these damaged structures.

Where beds need replacing, we plan to replace the old timber ones with frames made from recycled plastic, as these will last longer. We would be very grateful for any donations towards repairs, thank you so much in advance!
