Hi, we’re Shannon and Bill, the founders of PLAY.

We’re a family-run business based in Northamptonshire with a simple mission: to create a fun, welcoming and inclusive space where children can play, learn and grow, while parents and carers build friendships and feel part of a genuine community.

What started as a passion project has quickly grown into something much bigger. Through our themed stay and play sessions, sensory experiences, SEND-friendly events and family activities, we’ve welcomed hundreds of local families and created a community that continues to grow every month.

As parents of two under two ourselves, we understand how important it is to have safe, affordable and engaging spaces where children can explore, learn and make memories. We also know how valuable it is for parents to have somewhere they feel supported, connected and included.

Right now, we hire venues to run our events, which limits what we can offer and when we can offer it. Our dream is to create a permanent home for PLAY - a unique stay and play café, sensory hub and party venue unlike anything else in the area.

We’re not just creating another soft play centre. We’re building a community hub designed around imagination, creativity, learning and inclusivity. A place where children of all abilities can thrive, where families can make lasting memories, and where every visit feels special.

With your support, we’ll be able to secure and transform our own venue into a vibrant, exciting space packed with sensory experiences, role play, soft play, educational activities, community events, SEND sessions, birthday parties and so much more.
