Aim
We are raising funds towards a share prospectus and legal fees, to bring us one step closer to the community purchase of The Sun Inn
OUR STORY
The Sun Inn is at the heart of Dentdale on the Yorkshire-Cumbria border and has been bringing people together and welcoming visitors since the 16th Century.
The pub is now up for sale and faces an uncertain future, we want to secure it for the community. We've set up Dent Community Pub Ltd, a Community Benefit Society and hope to buy it through the sale of shares.
WHAT'S NEXT
We have now had an offer accepted by the owner, and thanks to the generous support of early donors, have completed an initial survey of this listed building, but we still need your help!
HOW WE'LL USE THESE FUNDS
This Crowdfunder is entirely separate to our campaign for community shareholders. The money raised here will help us pay for a detailed share prospectus, and to cover any legal costs involved as we proceed with the purchase of The Sun Inn.

Any money received will greatly help our efforts to save this vital community asset, and preserve it for generations to come. If we are successful in the purchase of the pub, anyone who has contributed to this Crowdfunder will receive vouchers to be spent at The Sun Inn.
