Barbs Leaving Fund

Aim

Following a recent cancer scare I am raising funds to leave London and buy a van to live in.

Since February, I've been going through an ongoing cancer scare that has forced me to take a hard look at my life and what happens when things go wrong.

Having already had cancer twice, months of hospital appointments, tests, and waiting for results highlighted the lack of security I have in london. I don't havea family home to return to when I need support, rest, or time to recover and living in London has become increasingly difficult and is no longer something I can afford and is now effecting my health. This experience made me realise that I need to make a significant change and digging into my medical history has highlighted some hard-hitting truths about my upbringing which i need space and room to process.

At the end of July, I'll be leaving London and starting a new chapter elsewhere.

I hate asking for help and will be doing a fundraising so this page is for anyone who cant make it but would still like to help out. I've been unable to work consistently while dealing with medical appointments and uncertainty since February, I've used up all of my savings and whilst going through all this I am also without a home and im couch surfing. The funds raised here will help cover the costs of moving out of London and purchasing a van that I plan to renovate into a simple home, giving me a more secure and sustainable living situation moving forward.

This page is mainly for those who can't make my fundraiser event on 18 July at the Rose Lipman Building but would still like to contribute.
