We're students at the National Film and Television School raising funds for 3 micro-budget films. Every £533 milestone unlocks another film.
We're making a slate of three micro-budget short films. Every £533 milestone unlocks another film.

We believe compelling films don't need huge budgets. We're setting ourselves the challenge of creating up to three original short films for just £533 each. Every funding milestone unlocks another story.
£533 — Interrogation (Guaranteed) - a dark comedy short.
£1,066 — White Noise (Unlocked) - if we raise £1,000+, we will produce a second comedy short film called White Noise.
£1,600 — Free Will (Full Slate Complete) - all three films get made.

Our core crew is already in place. These are projects being made by collaborators who are committed to bringing ambitious stories to life on micro-budgets.

Simona Iordanova - Director for Interrogation, Writer-Director for White Noise and Free Will
A Bulgarian writer-director who began her creative career in theatre before moving into film and television.
Her storytelling is rooted in a fascination with human relationships: how they form, shift, and quietly unravel. This sensibility carries through her work, from her debut short film Grieved, which won Best Short Film Director at the Golden FEMI Film Festival 2024, to her subsequent projects.
Alongside directing several short films, she has also worked as an assistant director, directed unscripted television pilots, and produced a live magazine show.
Jason T. Gaffney - Writer-Producer for Interrogation, Producer for White Noise and Free Will
An award-winning writer, actor, and producer whose earlier LGBTQ feature films include the romantic comedy, The Perfect Wedding, and the thriller, Russian Doll, both distributed by Wolfe Releasing. Among his other credits are Out Of Body and 2018’s award-winning Analysis Paralysis, which he also directed.
His most recent project was season one of a six-episode comedy series, Marriage of Inconvenience, which was released in 2023 as a Dekkoo Original Series.
Alexander Knipe - Writer-Producer for Interrogation, Producer for White Noise and Free Will
An unscripted television producer specialising in format-led entertainment, with a deep love for quiz shows.
After receiving a degree from Durham University, he pursued an MFA from the NFTS. There, he develops quiz and reality concepts that prioritise pace, wit, and audience engagement. With an award-winning background in comedy and stand-up, he recently made his debut in scripted drama with the short film Date Night.
Dominic Carrington - Composer
A composer who creates distinctive, story-driven music for film. His work focuses on crafting memorable scores that support narrative and leave a lasting impression on the audience.
He scored two films selected by Cannes Film Festival for their 2026 La Cinef competition: Pickled & Left Behind, Still Standing. Other work of note includes Voiceless (‘Best Drama’ Winner 2025, London Film Club); Me To You, which recently premiered at Minimalen Short Film Festival, and Gamebridge selected game Dark Bet. He is also an orchestrator, most recently for renowned Ukrainian singer-songwriter Maryna Krut, and has had his work recorded at the legendary Air Studios, Lyndhurst.

INTERROGATION (Dark Comedy) - £533+
He's never tortured anyone before.
His prisoner just wants him to believe in himself.
In this razor-sharp dark comedy, an interrogator is hopelessly out of his depth, while his prisoner becomes his biggest supporter. Set entirely in one room with two actors, it's a fast-paced, dialogue-driven film full of awkward tension, escalating absurdity, and chemistry that's as funny as it is unsettling.

WHITE NOISE (Comedy) - £1,066+
What makes you absolutely lose focus?
In White Noise, we explore just how much distraction people can endure before they snap. Heavily focusing on the power of sound design, this film uses minimal dialogue to bring absurd daily struggles to the absolute extreme.

FREE WILL (Thriller/Drama) - £1,600+
When a young man seemingly loses control of all his actions, his darkest fears start coming to life. Everything that he never dared to do is now the only thing he can do.
Will he manage to regain control of himself before it’s too late? Who or what is making him live through his darkest thoughts?

Our overall goal is to raise £1,600 so we can produce all three micro-budget films.

We know what we can achieve on small budgets. The same crew worked together in early 2026 to create a 6-minute short, Date Night, exploring the different shapes love can have. Confined within a single cinema, we told four different stories, through the perspective of their silent observer - the cinema itself.

Having successfully created an emotionally impactful story that we managed to record within a day, we are confident we could create more ambitious and more impactful stories on similar budgets.
