Launching Heartstones, a jewellery brand creating handcrafted heirloom pieces that hold memory, love and connection for generations.
Grief is love with no place to go. Heartstones gives that love a place to stay.
Some memories deserve more than a keepsake.
They deserve an heirloom.
In 2016, my baby daughter, Emily, passed away. Later, my family experienced another devastating loss when my aunt was murdered. Grief became something I had to learn to live with — not something that fades with time, but something that quietly changes the shape of your life.
What I discovered through that experience is that grief isn’t the absence of love. The love remains exactly where it always was. It simply has nowhere to go.
Jamie Anderson once described grief as love with no place to go. When I began working with memorial jewellery, I realised something powerful — jewellery could become a place for that love to live.
Not something hidden away in a drawer, but something that could be worn, carried through life, and eventually passed down.
That understanding became the foundation of Heartstones.

Over the past nine years I have developed my skills as a goldsmith, building a professional workshop and investing in the tools and techniques required to create fine jewellery.
Heartstones is not about producing quick keepsakes or decorative resin pieces.
It is about creating jewellery that is built to last.
Each piece is carefully constructed using traditional goldsmithing techniques and quality materials, designed so that the memories it holds can be carried not just for years, but for generations.
When someone entrusts me with the memory of a loved one, it deserves more than a craft project. It deserves to become something lasting.
These are not simply keepsakes.
They are heirlooms.
Why I Am Raising Funds
After many years working as a memorial jewellery artist and developing my skills as a goldsmith, Heartstones represents the next chapter of that journey — a brand dedicated to creating heirloom jewellery that preserves memory and connection for generations.
Over the past nine years I have invested in building my skills, my tools, and the professional equipment needed to create fine jewellery with care and precision. The techniques behind each piece have been shaped through years of experience working closely with families and their most precious memories.
Heartstones is not just about jewellery.
It is about creating a gentle, safe space where people can honour those they love.
A key part of this vision is opening a small studio space where clients can visit in person — somewhere calm and welcoming, where we can sit together with a cup of tea and talk through the memories they would like preserved in their jewellery. Clients will be able to see the workshop where their loved one's elements are handled and understand the care and respect that goes into every piece.
This crowdfunder will help make that space possible, while also supporting the final stages of launching Heartstones into the world.

- professional photography and launch materials
- packaging and presentation worthy of heirloom jewellery
- creating the first collection of exclusive designs and prototypes
- developing brand materials and design assets
- securing and preparing a consultation and workshop space for clients
