Care and support for umm Mohammed

Aim

We're raising £5,000 to provide essential aid and a stable start for umm Mohammed, a lone survivor of violent displacement.

Hello!

My name is Demi, and I'm a lone parent of two volunteering with the Mutual Aid network from Scotland.

We're reaching out to our community for support, as we're currently helping umm Mohammed, who has experienced unimaginable hardship.

Umm Mohammed was violently displaced from her -now- bombed home, and has tragically lost both her son and husband 🖤

She is currently living alone in a makeshift tent and her monthly land rent is $250.

Our mutual aid group is providing her with support during this incredibly difficult time.

Your contribution is her lifeline, helping us to ensure umm Mohammed receives the care she needs throughout 🤗

Umm Mohammed currently needs a replacement pair of prescription glasses which costs $150.

She also is prescribed with medication for her arthritis, special vitamin D and calcium supplementation, as well as strong painkillers:

Neither of these tablets are available at the UNRWA clinics, so have to be purchased from her local pharmacy.

Their current cost comes up to $200 per month.
