Aim

The aim of my project is to continually support Ali with all his efforts to support himself and his family while surviving genocide

Hi there one and all,

Thank you very much for your interest in my campaign.

INTRODUCTIONS

My name is Demi and I'm a Mutual Aid Network helper and disabled lone mother of 2.

Ali is my friend and he recently reached out to me to help him "carry" his family through the manmade disaster bestowed upon them.

DAILY LIVING CONDITIONS

Their house was bombed, along with all their belongings.

They have been painfully displaced innumerable times, and currently found some relative safety in Central Gaza.

His entire family of 9 live in a singular tent, at their camping site.

7 adults, 2 kids (1 of them is a baby) under one roof. Freezing in winter, roasting in summer.

Minimal protection from their surrounding environment, subpar basic necessities.

The bombing is ongoing, and most of their homeland reduced to literal rubble.

Despite the absolute dehumanisation, Humanitarian Aid is relentlessly blocked from accessing them.

Extremely limited resources allowed through to them too!

Effectively, they have to buy everything at skyrocketing prices from their local market.

Their daily needs, for whole family of 9, sum up to approximately $800 monthly.

HEALTH CONDITIONS

Additionally, they are dealing with chronic health conditions.

Due to insufficient supplies provided to their tent community kitchen, cumulative malnourishment has become their default.

Ali's mother and sister have diabetes.

Their treatment is extremely limited too, and costs $400 monthly for:

  • Insulin injections
  • Further diabetes medication

ALI'S ONGOING EDUCATION

Ali is an ambitious high school graduate.

Currently about to start his 1st academic year at university, and looking forward to attending his courses and excelling through all the subjects at his best potential.

His upcoming University tuition fees for the academic year of 2026-2027 are:

  • Stationary ($50 every few months)
  • New clothes
  • A laptop device for education ($600 before new academic semester)
  • Deposit by 3rd October (one-off $800)
  • Monthly transport cost $200
  • Tuition fees ($300, monthly)

YOUR ROLE

They have been, and continually trying their absolute hardest.

Ali and his family are true survivors. A respectful family, worthy of all the best in store for them.

With your contributions, they will be able to continually support themselves through this extreme and painful adversity they are currently forced to experience.

Please consider donating to them as generously as humanely possible.

Your financial input is their absolute lifeline at that stage in our lifetime.

A kind word, a balming tincture to their tortured hearts.

Your solidarity, their reminder that Humanity exists and is worth standing by in return too ✊🏼💞

All amounts, big-medium-small are most welcome and appreciated 🙏🏼

Ali's family along with mine are trully grateful for your kindness, empathy and generosity.

Please remember to stay blessed in the process.
